Drive belt Dyson DC01, DC04, DC07, DC14 non clutch

Suitable for: Dyson DC01 (all models) Dyson DC04 (non clutch versions) Dyson DC07 (non clutch versions) Dyson DC14 (non clutch versions) The drive belts can be a little tricky to fit and will look visually smaller than the original snapped belt. This is due to the old belt being stretched and the replacement drive belt will need to be stretched into place when fitting to ensure a tight fit. A slack belt will slip on the brush bar and eventually burn through. If you are unsure which type of model you have or the meaning of 'non clutch' there are a few different ways to identify. Looking underneath your Dyson vacuum cleaner, does the belt come directly from the motor spindle to the brush bar? If so you have a non clutch model. But if the belt comes from the motor spindle to a clutch assembly and then another belt comes from this to the brush bar you have a clutched version Dyson. Or Does your Dyson cleaner have a control knob on the front right hand side that allows you to turn the brushroll on/off? This controls a clutch assembly and this is where the phrase clutch version comes from. A DC04, DC07 or DC14 model without this knob is known as a non clutch model. If your machine has this control knob you have a clutch version.
